&Beyond has launched an exclusive selection of Small Group Journeys – curated expeditions which provide access to off-the-beaten-track regions and experiences in iconic destinations. The journeys are led by private guides and experts in various fields.
Amongst the set of activities is &Beyond’s private jet offering for 2019 designed for a maximum of 12 gests over 12 days. The journeys cover Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Guests also have the opportunity to extend their trip to Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Rwanda or Uganda. The use of private airport terminals, as well as VIP assistance at customs and baggage claims is included. The Bombardier Challenger 350 jet is used on most of the international routes, with a Pilatus PC12 utilised for shorter hops between Kenya and Tanzania.
Priced at US$70 000pp, the itinerary includes the Masai Mara, Ngorongoro Crater, Victoria Falls, Kruger Park and Cape Town. Activities include cultural excursions with the Masai and the opportunity to witness a rhino notching procedure. Hosts include wildlife documentary maker, Jonathan Scott of Big Cat Diary, as well as activist Dennis Goldberg. A celebratory banquet is hosted by &Beyond CEO, Joss Kent.
&Beyond’s Mobile Camping Expeditions in Botswana also form part of the Small Group Journeys collection with a choice of six different routes and accommodation options, as well as the East Africa Photographic Expedition led by a specialist photographic guide. Only four seats are sold per departure and a fully customised photographic vehicle offers unobstructed views and specially designed swivel chairs. Top-of-the-range photographic equipment can be supplied.
