Botswana camp joins the Gondwana Collection

Camp Chobe, situated along the Botswana border at the gateway to the Chobe National Park, has joined the Gondwana Collection.

“We are handing Camp Chobe over to the Gondwana Group because of private reasons, with both a said and relieved heart,” says former owner, Johan Liebenberg. “We built it with our own hands and we are sad to see it go. However, we know Gondwana shares our love of nature and commitment to sustainability and social commitment to local communities.”

Camp Chobe opened in 2012 and is located in the Salambala conservancy. It includes a restaurant, bar, souvenir shop and pool, along with 20 tented chalets, each with en-suite bathrooms. There are also six campsites (each for a maximum of 10 people) and private ablution facilities.
