New Gondwana Collection lodge opens its doors

The Gondwana Collection’s newest lodge, the Zambezi Mubala Lodge in the far east of the Zambezi region, 40km east of Katima Mulilo on the Namibian Zambezi River has opened.

It offers 18 double rooms and two family cabins with en-suite bathrooms and views of the river and surrounding landscape.

The former Kalizo Lodge was completely rebuilt and transformed into the Zambezi Mubala Lodge. Gondwana has also acquired the nearby Island View Lodge, now named Zambezi Mubala Camp, which serves as the departure point fort he boat trip to the lodge.

From May 1, 2018, campsites and self-catering tents (glamping) will be available at Zambezi Mubala Camp.

Activities include specialised fishing and birding excursions as well as day trips to Vic Falls, Chobe National Park and other reserves.
