Robin Pope Safaris (RPS) has formed a strategic partnership with Zambezi Valley safari operator; Milo Harrup and Sarah Stevens of The Mana Pools Travel Company, for a new semi-permanent camp in Mana Pools.
Named John’s Camp after renowed African safari guide, John Stevens (who will be available to guide on request), the camp will comprise 10 beds and is situated in one of the best walking safari locations in Zimbabwe, with views across a floodplain towards the Zambezi River. “The concept is simple, but the experience is intimate, offering guests exceptional service, great game viewing and top-notch guides,” said Robin Pope Safaris in a media statement.
Ton de Rooy, MD of RPS, comments: “We are thrilled to add John’s Camp to Robin Pope Safaris. We believe we share the same values and vision and we look forward very much to growing the Robin Pope Safaris footprint in this special part of Africa,”
Sarah Stevens will also be setting up RPS Travel Zimbabwe, offering ground handling within Zimbabwe.
John’s Camp will open from the 14th of April until the 30th of November this year. All existing books will be honoured at contract rates. New bookings confirmed before the 14th of May 2017 will get a 15% opening special discount per person per night.
